Course outlines that students actually finish

Sequence modules for momentum: outcomes first, then practice, then optional depth.

Most drop-off happens when learners cannot see the path. Name each module after a skill or artifact they will have when done, not after topic jargon.

Put a quick win early: something they can use within the first two lessons. Confidence fuels persistence more than perfect foundations.

Alternate explanation with application. After you teach a concept, give a short exercise, checklist, or reflection prompt. Passive watching feels easy; light action proves progress.

Park advanced material in optional bonus lessons or an add-on module. The main track should feel completable in a busy week, not like a semester you never signed up for.
